MSR - Quality Steel Work Since 1987
MSR was established in October 1987 by three original employees from the former Seaforth Welding company and to this day is still a family-run business.
MSR has continued to grow within the steel industry and in 2002 was awarded the Corus Structural Steel Design Award.
As well as specialising in ship repair MSR has continued to diversify throughout the prevailing years and now specialises in the supplying of steelwork and the supply of fully skilled labour for numerous civil engineering projects for organisations within the public and private sector.
As well as tunnelling steelwork for the tunnelling industry. Some of these projects include work for MEPAS (Mersey Estuary Pollution Alleviation Scheme), a new sewage system under the Dock road in Liverpool in order to clean up the beaches in and around Merseyside and worked for some of the major construction companies in the Uk including, Morgan Est, Costain, Norwest Holst, Murphy, Birse, Fineturret, A E Yates, Laing O'Rourke and Mansell.

The headquarters of MSR is based in Bootle Merseyside where the 26 strong team work from 2 factories totaling 22,000 square feet servicing our clients throughout the UK and Ireland.

During our continued steady growth we have undertaken commercial projects such as the award-winning Liverpool One retail area right up to the present day where we are just about to commence work for the London Olympics 2012.
